I had all my hard palate removed and nasal cavity too. I was told I'd need a month in hospital but with my brilliant surgeon I was home the next day. I had a temporary obturator to fill the gap and packing for the first 6 weeks. I didn't have a feeding tube and ate ok. We all react differently I was very gung-ho ! I'm getting on with it!
