Senior Patient Advocate Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 8,311 | Remember we all can react differently to this Tx but my experience on this site tells me that appx 10% breeze through without much of a problem; about 10% seem to start having problems from the very beginning and the rest of us don't seem to start having problems until after the 2nd Cisplatin which is after 15 rad sessions. Not sure what you have read but if you listen to us about water, nutrition, pain meds, remedies for common side effects you will be far better off than not listening to us.

Jun 07, back to riding my bike 100 miles a wk. Now doing 12 Spin classes and 60 outdoor miles per wk. Nov 13 completed Hilly Century ride for Cancer, 104 miles, 1st Place in my age group. Apr 2014 & 15, Spun for 9 straight hrs to raise $$ for YMCA's Livestrong Program. Certified Spin Instructor Jun 2014.
