So I started chewing nicotine gum after researching online that there is no conclusive evidence to support nicotine causes cancer per the medical journals I read. I've been chewing the gum for a while for two reasons 1) it cures the urges and 2) makes my mouth produce more salvia. Well my oncologist told me to stop chewing it and that it can cause cancer. My regular doctor said no it doesn't. What have you heard or what do you think?
