Things are still going great. I have a ? concerning pain after treatment.
Sometimes my jaw and tongue get so sore I give up and don't finish my meals. Has anyone else experienced this? I am not loosing weight, still maintaining so I guess the problem is not that major, but it feels major when it happens. Sometimes it brings me down and I have to remember where I was a month ago and how far I have come. How quickly we forget.
To me it feels like muscle soreness. It feels like an ache, usually on the left side which is strange because that is not the side that had the cancer and radiation was not supposed to be as strong on that side. I think maybe that the muscles just get tired, is this possible? Kind of like when you start a new work out routine and the muscles are not used to it yet, you have to build them up. I would just think with as much as I eat, drink, and talk that they would be getting adjusted to it by now.
It happens often but yesterday seemed particularly bad so I am posting. Spice seems to affect it, I had Mexican food and sushi with a bit of wasabi yesterday.
Anyone else?
Ideas?
Suggestions?
I know I should not go there, especially after a clean PET/CT, scope, and I don't feel anything, but it feels reminiscence of the pain I had on the right side that started this whole thing. So sometimes my mind drifts into the "what if".
I guess I am just hoping some one chimes in with similar issues.
