Good morning, my husband was diagnosed with advanced sinus cancer that had spread to his eye, brain and lymph nodes, not to mention some bone matter that had also managed to get in on the game. We are nearly 2 years out from that day, a day in which he was told to prepare to die. They told us he was terminal and all they could offer was palliative care. Not so. We kept searching and found an incredible group of surgeons who saved his life. He underwent surgery that saw him lose his eye, orbit, a few random bones in the forehead and cheek but he has recovered and is incredible today! This year in September will mark the 2 year mark and reconstruction begins! New nose, new eye, some teeth.....a million dollar man! We are blessed. So, has anyone been through this? What is the reconstruction going to entail. This is a "never give up" message!
