I just need to vent for a sec. I'm really frustrated. Had an MRI done because I've been having chronic headaches/migraines with some jaw pain and my ENT said there was still exposed bone where my wisdom teeth were extracted on the lower mandible. It's been 8 months since my surgery and words like Osteomyelitis and Osteonecrosis are scaring the crap out of me. They finally got the results back and his assistant called today and said he wanted me to come in to discuss the results but of course he doesn't have an opening until Wednesday. So here I am, stuck driving myself crazy for 2 days until then. My ENT said if there wasn't an infection that he would take a skin graft from my cheek and cover the exposed bone and have me do another round of HBOT. If there is an infection there would be IV antibiotics and HBOT as well. I just want to know...
