I found out I had thyroid nodules the same time I was diagnosed with oral cancer in 2005. My doctor (ENT) has been monitoring the nodules via periodic ultrasounds (to measure the size of the nodules). Ive also have periodic FNAB (find needle aspirational biopsy) to look for any signs of cancer. From what I understand, thyroid nodules are fairly common in women and most often are benign. However, you should continue to have the thyroid nodules monitored by your doctor.

It sounds like you have a lot of health issues already and plenty of stress in your life. I pray that you do not join the OC club also. Good luck with your appointment this week.
