Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 | While it is possible for a recurrence to pop up in another location, I think it usually it happens closer to the original tumor. At least thats been my experience with my recurrences. Ive seen others have it pop up all over the place too.
Best thing you can do is to keep vigilant and get your regular check ups. A recurrence would be treated just like an original cancer with surgery and/or radiation with or without chemo.
