I dont know if this will help you or not. When my body rejected the titanium, I was in a medically induced coma for 3 weeks. The doctors had a problem with getting the blood flow working properly and my face turned jet black. The doctors used leeches to attempt to get the blood flowing correctly but it didnt work. So my issue was compounded by the rejection and lack of blood flow to the area. All this happened about a week to 10 days after the major surgery. At about day 17 or 18 after the original mandibulectomy, another mandibulectomy was done. I was awaken a few days later.
