Interesting. I am hoping that I won't have to go through the injections I have been reading about. I don't mind a hoarse voice as long as I am doing no damage to the good (i.e. working) vocal chord by not trying to fix the paralyzed one. I had my CT scan this morning. My oncologist wants to rule out a return of my cancer. If that is clear then I'll start talking about possible treatment of the paralyzed vocal chord with my ENT. I get the results of the CT scan next Wednesday. Don't know why but I am strangely optimistic that the cancer is NOT back but that this is just more radiation side effects. -Michelle
