During my last visit with my ENT, two weeks ago, he did a scope, and said that my vocal cord is not moving, likely from all the radiation, and probably why my voice is lowered, hoarse. He referred me to an associate at an afiliated hospital, NY Eye and Ear Infirmary, to see a otolaryncologist there who gives collagen injections to help correct this. I didn't have a chance to follow-up/investigate yet, due to being rudely interrupted by a kideny stone. Maybe I'll see a Opthmologist while I'm there, I could use that more lol.
I haven't seen any postings for this, and this procedure may have different names, Collagen injection for Vocal Cord Augmentation, Injection Larygnoplasty, bulk injection.
