Do you guys have deep cracks in your tongue? My Dad does. He said the main thing that's keeping him from eating is his tongue. The doctor told him today it will probably be a year before his tongue is back to normal. Seriously??? Geez. I told him it's not a problem for him to be on a "drinks only" diet. I can make plenty of soups and shakes, but as of now he is so limited. Says certain things hurt his mouth and obviously his taste buds aren't the same. I'm just praying he can eat solid foods sooner than later. He is a big guy and loves to eat, so this really sucks.
