So many things happen inside your mouth after surgery, radiation, etc. One day you will have a sore, and the next day it will be gone.

After 9 years I have a white spot right where my flap is, and probably over the last nine years this has been there off and on. While white spots need to be monitored, my surgeon didn't seem overly concerned about this particular one.

Yours could be plaque, could be just part of healing process - keep an eye on it and if it doesn't clear up in 2 weeks call your doctor and get it looked at.

Try not to worry - don't let Cancer steal any more time that it already has.
