About doctors, we all want to be comfortable and like our physicians. But, some of the very best doctors have lousy bedside manners. I would much rather have a doctor who wasnt quite so nice and they were top notch than to have one I really liked but they werent on the ball. Alot of surgeons are arrogant but remember he works for YOU. Dont let him dissuade you from asking questions. If it were me I would keep right on asking them maybe even repeat a few if the doc wasnt being clear. Thats just my 2 cents.
What kind of follow up care do you have? Most patients get scoped and have either a CT or PET to ensure they are doing ok. Sounds like its not a bad idea to get yourself another ENT. Hopefully at a cancer center where they will have a team based approach and everyone is all on the same page.
I hope this turns out to be nothing serious and that its just scar tissue acting up.
