Lynanne, welcome to OCF! We have many Stage IV survivors here including myself. Please dont let the Stage determine the treatment plan. the very best thing to do is to go to a major cancer center where a whole team of specialists work together on your husbands 'case'. They will make a treatment plan and then you can decide how to next proceed. A second opinion is also a good idea. Making these hard decisions is something you and your husband will have to decide together. We will help support you on your decisions.

You didnt mention how old your husband is. Ive seen many survivors in their 70s and some in their 80s get thru this successfully. While its no walk in the park, it is something that can be done. Especially when you have OCF behind you for support and correct medical info.

Best wishes!
