Since November 2012, I've had 3 bouts of what seems like a head cold. The roof of my mouth, back behind the uvela gets raw and sore. I get some crud in my sinuses and I have bouts of nasuea. My voice gets hoarse and I might get a little bit of a sore throat, but it doesn't drop down into my lungs like a cold. I had it in November, seemed like it cleared up, but came back in the first week of December and didn't clear up until the 3rd week of January. Everyone else who was sick seemed to have something similar and that hung on for weeks, so I chaulked it up to that. However, now I'm sick again. I usually do not get sick, or not sick enough to make me want to stay home in bed and I've been okay for the first 4 years post treatment, so I'm wondering if this is common?
When I swallow, I fairly regularly have small amounts of liquid go up into my nasal passages, not to the point that it runs out my nose, but just gets wet above whatever it is that's suppose to keep liquids out of my nasal passages. I'm wondering if that breeds bacteria, etc.
Does anyone else have this problem?
