Just the worry and stress that the unknown is causing you is reason enough to get an earlier appointment. The ENT's office can move appointments around. Tell them how stressful this is making you and cry a little if you have to get them to understand what worrying about it is doing to you. When my son was waiting for his appointment with the ENT, I was so stressed out I couldn't even talk coherently on the phone so my ex-daughter-in-law called for me and pretended to still be married to my son and she got the appointment moved up to the next business day! If you can't call yourself, have someone else call for you. Do it! Take some deep breaths, try not to worry, keep busy. Let us know what happens.
