Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 1,163 | Wanted to share this news with everyone. Had my first solid food in three weeks. Had a bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup with crackers on Wed evening, had a bowl of beef veg soup with crackers and a container of choc pudding today. It was the best tasting food I can remember. Actually put on two pounds in two days. Still inputting 8 cans of insure per day. The radaition
won't start for three more weeks at least. Total of 6 weeks after surgery. Is this normal? Seems like a long time to wait. Doc says he wants the pech flap to heal before the rad starts. Dan

Recurrance in June 05 in right tonsil area. Now receiving palliative chemo (Erbitux) starting 3/9/06
