Tell him to keep swallowing - the two weeks following are the hardest then slowly things get better. The first few weeks I had post nasal drip. It felt like acid hitting the back of my throat, then one day a few weeks out it was ok. They say 1 month for every week of treatment. I was good about 4 weeks out then slowly taste returned and now I feel good. He'll get there. congrats on getting him through it!
