Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 756 Likes: 1 | I�ve had numerous surgeries on my tongue also and a lot of weird things afterwards. After one surgery I had a dark spot which was painful and swollen. So I went to my ENT and found out there was part of a stitch still embedded in my tongue � removed it, pain and swelling gone! I hope it is something as simple as that.
But yes, he should go to see his doctor (ENT).
