Any pearls of wisdom on replacing gold crowns with ceramic pre-radiation? Center says it's optional and my husband is just anxious to start treatment after months of trying to get dx. Now that we have accurate dx, he wants to get it done versus waiting further while crowns replaced. Center says gold versus ceramic totally optional- but mouth sores more likely with gold crowns. Any experience on this forum?
