Hello Nancy, I am new with this group and like you my 72 year old mother in law will be having surgery to remove part or all of her jawbone (mandible) on october 10, 2012. In 2010 she had a partial glossectomy but the cancer reoccured on her gums and jawbone. She only weighs 98 lbs and is very fragile due to her hypertension and heart problem.
