Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 531 | Is he on Social security disability? Ron has been on since 2007 and has had Medicaid/Medicare ever since. I got him on right away and I must have been a lucky one that it was so easy and I had no problems at all. I went and did it myself first went to Social Security office when Ron was in hospital right after he came out of his coma and than went to welfare agency and got him on that too. He had no insurance either and I just took him right to Cleveland Clinic emergency when he had his Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and they have been taking care of him ever since Jan 13 2008!
