My original ENT, oral surgeon and plastic surgeon told me "teeth implants or dentures will NEVER work for you. Sorry, but you will get used to life without lower teeth". Well, I'm pleased to say once my rebuilt mandible jaw healed I got another opinion and was told a different story. Over a period of approximately 16 months I had implants placed in my reconstructed lower jaw and a denture designed. The final stages of the denture was completed in 2010. This denture improved my situation in so many ways.
