I sure agree with Christine. My thraot is always tight and it is my tongue that gives me problems. Not that I can eat. I'm a tube person like some here are and am used to it after almost a year in Oct. I can swallow water if I quirt it to the back of my throat with my head tilted back. I wish you lick.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
