WOW Ken. I was going to say you could write a book, but I think you already did. What a terrible experience. One thing, for sure, is you sure have a good attitude, and that is a plus for all you've been through. Hopefully, the plan of action at Walter Reed will be a breeze from what you've already been through and will rid you of the leftovers. I will say a prayer, in fact I'm saying it right now, for a full recovery for you. Let us know what the "plan of action" is and how you're doing. Dang, tonsillectomies hurt even without all the other frills added to it - but you'll do good, I know.

Nov 2007 SCC on right tonsil following tonsillectomy. Was smoker, QUIT. (Stage IV T2 N2b) 7 weeks radiation one day/wk chemo (carboplatin and 5-FU). Allergic to Taxol; PEG in, lost 30 lbs. TX completed January 2008. PEG out mid- 2008. PET/CT 1/17/2011;2/3/12 NEGATIVE for cancer smile
