My sister Marcy also has a very aggressive cancer.
She was dx in January of last year. Had partial tongue removed and lymph nodes. Came back strong in two months, she recieved chemo and radiation.
Came back within a month and a half or sooner who knows, I don't think they ever got it all.
She now has skull mets and the cancer is back on her face and neck. She was told today that they are going to do the Gamma knife procedure on her tomorrow. If is suppose to shrink the tumor on her skull. They are also going to try IMRT on her face and neck. I would sugguest you ask your doctor if any of these can be tried in your case.
They said the Gamma knife would help control her excruiting headaches and slow down the tumor.
