I know about shock, I passed out in the ENT's office when he gave me the Dx. That was over a year ago, by the way. I had to get on anti-anxiety meds to function. My first ENT basically told me to get my affairs in order, my second ENT was a LOT more optomistic about my prognosis.

Don't let your imagination run wild just yet, although I know it's hard not to. There is still a lot to be done before they know the best way to treat it. Some of us here have had no surgery at all - just radiation & chemo and have had a complete response.

Since this is so early, you want to consider finding a comprehensive cancer center with a coordinated multi-disciplinary team to help manage your case if you are not already in one.
