Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 30 | My surgery is scheduled for Thursday. I have not been to see the doctor since the MRI therefore I don't know what I'm in for. I know the cancer is under my tongue, but I don't know what the plan is.
Spoke to my father on the phone this evening and he could not stop crying. This seems to be more difficult for him than me. I'm not sure what I can do to help him through this. He was not around during the first & second surgery. I'm just trying to be positive and believe I will get through this.
Right Radical Neck Disection 2/02, 7 wks Rad. rgt side 04/03, 15% of tongue removed 08/03, Lung Met 05/04, lung surgery removed 8 nodules and 4 lymph nodes in chest all SCC
