There is usually a department at the hospital that devotes itself to helping patients with housing and logistics. The Head and Neck department at the hospital should be able to direct you there. I would be very surprised if there is not someone to help you with housing and even possible financial help.
The American Cancer Society runs Hope Lodges in many locations that provides accomodations as long as you have a caregiver to help.
