Yes, gets some meds. I had the same problem wheezing and all that terrible cough and cold is going around. When I went in to see him he was going to give me 250 mg of Amoxicillin I told him that's not going to work I need 500mg. Then he said take Robitussin over the counter, yeah right!! I said, that's not going to work I need presciption cough meds. He was very reluctant to give it to me, not sure what's up with that. I'm not one who sees a Dr. every month. Got what I needed and in 10 days all was well and the small lump on the side of my neck was gone.
I understand the panic mode. Hope the meds work for you it might be an infection that's what I had.
