Hi there!! It will come back clear!! smile I can't answer your orburator question, though I agree with you - no one wants their physical parts messed with particularly after they've already been through so much, but - I'm also a firm believer in returning to the best natural place possible - keep your orburator maybe until you've hit a point where your scans have been clear for an extended time, but then maybe after that a reconstruction would be a good thing as it will return you to the best possible normal! Ask your dr. What he or she thinks in terms of spotting a possible recurrence with a recon. That might ease your mind... But if you want wait until the pain memory isn't sooo fresh then make a decision! I felt the same way when the SO said something about debunking my tongue. I thought I'll wait a bit I'm only 5 months out of rads - likelihood it will take up to a year to finish healing etc... Talk to me then. My plastics guy concurred with me saying rads is a natural debulker! He didn't want to touch it for at least a year - figuring if he did before then, it might then be too small. Ask your dr. If it would hurt to wait a bit... But if it's a now or never prospect then it's a bit harder decision wise! Hugs!!! Good luck!
