I suggest that you all listen to Dr. Gillison talk about the HPV issue and oral cancers on this podcast. While most of you on these boards know because of OCF's pushing for the last decade and constant funding of HPV research about much of this, this is a pivotal study that OCF was part of. It, in an unambiguous manner, creates a science based argument for the vaccination of boys, since men are going to bear the brunt of future cases of oropharyngeal cancers, and anterior of the mouth tobacco cancers have and will continue to decline. In the next decade the head and neck / oral cancer community will be the dominant realm of HPV caused cancers, not cervical cancer in women.
