Teeth are definately affected. Thankfully I have not had any problems with my teeth. I have used an over the counter floride treatment (my dentist recommended) My suggestion is that you see a dentist about what is happening. Ask him/her if they are experienced in post rad. dental care. If not then see about a referral to someone that is.
Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
