My palate has been sore off and on for many months. I see my head and neck surgeon every 2 months and I have complained about the soreness. He does not see anything that significant. Today I went to see him with my husband and I complained about it again and he said I could do a biopsy, but I would rather you see an Oral Surgeon so the both of us could discuss what is going on. I would have persisted to have a biopsy, but my husband thought it was a good idea to have someone else look at the roof of my mouth, and at that time the oral surgeon might want to do a biopsy. Could I have oral cancer again??? I hope this isn't a repeat of last summer where it took me 5 months to get a diagnosis.
