Patient Advocate (1000+ posts) Joined: May 2009 Posts: 1,412 | I know that can be a frightening thing, but being hospitalized during my treatment was the best thing that could ever happened to me. I had great care and they were awesome at keeping the pain under control and I was getting the proper amount of nutrients. By them time I left I was feeling like a new person. I still had a week left of rads when I got out, but I sailed right through them after being told the best way to get the pain under control. Will say a prayer for your dad.
