Like you, I have looked at many sites, but after some time there isn't any more information on oral cancer you don't already know (did you find one remotely as good as this one?). The treatment information also tends to be quite general, whereas here you not only get very specific information on available treatments, but first hand accounts and recommendation from caring people who have been there and can relate to your experience.

You would assume to find a head and neck group somewhere in the S.F. Bay Area, but there isn't one. (A group is being formed now by health care professionals and will be available sometime this spring.) Hope you are doing ok, and are encouraged by the wonderful support/ information you can find here.
