Well Eileen - great thing about the OCF Family, you are never alone. We are all here to walk this journey with you. Sounds like you are fully informed about what is to be done and what to expect and I wouldn't be surprised if you speak much more quickly than they say -I know I did. I'm sure it is heartbreaking to think you had it "beat" and then get broadsided, but I am sure you will get through this well and have many many more years of cancer free survivorship. This was caught at an early stage and we look forward to clear (and quick!) pathology and speedy recovery.
