OP Platinum Member (300+ posts) Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 476 | John had his PET Scan last Friday. The results are in and there is no sign of cancer. It did show some "uptake" in his lower left molar. He will follow up with his dentist on that issue. My question is - he had an appointment today with his Oncologist and his WBC was 3.5, normal is between 4 and 10? The Oncologist said not to worry about it. Why two years out of treatment is his WBC still low? Since he finished treatments he has only had "normal" WBC one time. Anywho I'm just thrilled and relieved that he is doing so well and the PET Scan was clear. It is hard not to worry about "things".
