Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 8 | There is a nasal tube that can be used. It is a temporary tube inserted thru the nose. Most users of this need it only for a couple weeks. A regular feeding tube is bigger and sounds like it would work much better for your father. None of us wanted to use one of them but it is a very useful tube to get your father thru this rough period of time. The wound from the feeding tube closes quickly and barely leaves a mark when it is healed.
