When I first finished treatment, I battled thrush for not quite 3 months off and on. I too didn't have a resistant type but the diflucan wouldn't work enough or if it did as soon as it got better, my script would run out and back the thrush came. I also used the nystatin in combination with the high dose diflucan. Finally, one day it started to work not sure what the difference was, I have an inclination that my saliva started to finally change. It was the thick, stringy gag me type of saliva and it finally started turning to a thinner consistency.

I know how aggravating it must be, I hated the constant taste of YUCK in my mouth and that it looks just plain GROSS.
