I suspect that in the realm of "every little bit helps" this is relevant. But OCF gets a dozen calls a week from people with no insurance, can't qualify for state aid systems or Medicare. Those are the people we have to find a safety net for. 500 dollars will barely get a fluoride tray made these days, and while it is something, NCCS hasn't been of huge help to people that we have sent them. When you need the expensive treatments that conventional oral cancer treatments and their side effects cause dealt with, this is not a solution. Also for anything dental, which is the second thing we get many requests for funding sources for, (after treatment issues and even the most basic return to function appliances) they will not help you.

It was a generous gesture for you to support them. We work directly with them on many things during the year.
