12 lbs is a lot to lose - definitely up the bulk of your foods like Christine says add more protein and maybe more calorie heavy fluids. I always take a multivitamin for women which also has greens in it - a probiotic - and an antioxidant - which I am told I will have to stop for radiation. (the antioxidant I mean) - I wasn't on anything except for iron when I was in the hospital - but the minute I got home I started taking them again - I believe they help healing immensely.
If you do continue to lose weight and have pain and bleeding I would definitely go back to see the dr. There's always pain - but too much is impeding your healing since you can't eat, drink or sleep properly. Plus the bleeding concerns me. Take care
