I have been getting the scope for quite a few years and I don't mind it. I was getting it every 3 months and the surgeon that does it is the one that found the cancer. But he does numb and then am put to sleep for a little while. Never really had much pain after .

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
