Maria, there are many reasons that a crown could come loose and it very well could not be related to your treatment. From what you wrote, it seems to me that the crowns were done over the last 12 years. How long ago were they done? Crowns that are poorly done can come off in a few months. Even well done crowns can come off periodically.

What has your dentist told you about why he/she thinks they are getting loose?
