Be patient as your mouth as well as your body both physically and mentally have been put thru that ringer. Depending upon many many factors including of course your treatment you will recover as you will recover. Yea I know thanks for nothing but really no one can predict how you will recover. We can guess but even to do that we need to know all about your Dx and Tx. See everyone's Signature Line and add yours if you care to.

My own personal recovery took all of 2 years. My taste and dry mouth seemed to recover concurrently. I saw my first improvement at 4 months, then again at 5, 15 (the biggest improvement) and a tad more at 24 months. I would guesstimate that I am around 95% of my pre Tx normal.

Jun 07, back to riding my bike 100 miles a wk. Now doing 12 Spin classes and 60 outdoor miles per wk. Nov 13 completed Hilly Century ride for Cancer, 104 miles, 1st Place in my age group. Apr 2014 & 15, Spun for 9 straight hrs to raise $$ for YMCA's Livestrong Program. Certified Spin Instructor Jun 2014.
