They are more skilled in treating complex oral issues. When having extractions done an oral cancer patient should have whats called the marx protocal. That is 20 hyperbaric oxygen treatments before and 10 after the extraction. This is to help prevent ORN. HBO also will help cure ORN. Im not someone who was lucky enough to get implants, I lost my teeth due to radiation damage. We do have a dentist as an oral cancer survivor and OCF member. Also Brian Hill has a dental background.
