Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 3,552 | As long as you have drymouth issues you will have potential for thrush. I am 8 years out, have pretty decent saliva output and earlier this year I had thrush. Keep Diflucan on hand for this.
Fear can drive patients a bit (ok - a LOT) crazier than they were even before the cancer thing - I ended up buying my wife a BMW Z4 Roadster to make amends for my literally delusional behaviour (mainly due to all of the narcotics). Caregivers have it very hard so feel free to vent here anytime - guilt free!
