I did not get the sores until later in treatment but boy do I know what you mean by pain. I had times when I dug my nails into my desk and tears of pain came.

My team started me with liquid codeine (it goes to work much faster) and magic mouthwash. I graduated to the Fentynol patchs when the sores came.
