On the web store there is a comments block. If you enter that you want someone to know you made a donation in their name, (provide the name and address of the person) OCF will send them a card that tells than that a donation has been made in their name, or in memory of, or whatever you wish. We do this all the time, and it happens particularly when someone is lost unfortunately, and we notify the family of all the names and addresses of the people who made donations in memorium. This allows them to send thanks out to everyone.

This summer Blythe Danner made a donation to the foundation in memory of Bruce. This was in relationship to all of his friends who attended a last party at the house that he and Blythe raised Gwyneth in, shared many memorable dinners with these friends in etc. that she was selling. We sent cards out to all the attendees as she gave generously in each of their names. Giving thanks for what people do for us is part of it all... my signature block did not happen by chance.
